The importation of electrical and electronic equipment into Cameroon is subject to various customs formalities.
Since the application of Order No. 005 MINEPDED/MINCOMMERCE of 10.24.2012, the importer must present a contract for the recovery of his Electrical and Electronic Equipment concluded with an approved WEEE treatment organisation, to prove that the imported equipment will be treated ecologically once it reaches the end of its life.
This contract is one of the mandatory documents to be collected by an importer in order to obtain the Technical Visa prior to import.
As the first establishment to benefit from the Environmental Permit for the treatment of WEEE in Cameroon, Solidarité Technologique is authorised to draw up these contracts.
