Solidarité Technologique (ST) is a French association under the law of 1901, created in 2001, authorized to operate in Cameroon by the Ministerial Order No. 000019/A/MINATD/DAP/SDLP/SAC of 29th January 2004. Based in Yaoundé, it works for sustainable technological development and vocational training for disadvantaged young people in IT.

We offer the treatment of their Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) to organizations through economic, ecological and social recycling solutions. Our revenues are used to support our Professional Training Centre for young people in need.

We are also developing an action towards the informal sector, in order to raise workers’ awareness on the risks and challenges related to the handling of WEEE, and to develop their technical know-how. We also carry out advocacy and outreach activities on the subject of WEEE.
